The United Church is divided into regional jurisdictions called Regional Councils. The Regional Councils have established their own archives or entered into partnerships with other organizations to ensure the ongoing preservation of their records. The archives of the Regional Councils along with the General Council Archives are known collectively as the Archives Staff Circle.

Some Regional Council Archives comprise several regional jurisdictions. These Archives are located across the country including British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland.
